SSPJ 101: The Student Handbook & Responsible Use of Technology
The Saints Philip and James School Student Handbook is an essential resource for both parents and students. It contains important information regarding academics, attendance, emergency procedures, transportation, dress code, and much more. In addition, families are expected to review the Responsible Use Policy for Technology, which outlines the appropriate, ethical, and safe use of digital tools and devices within our school community. We encourage all families to read both documents carefully and refer to them throughout the school year to stay informed and prepared.
Handbook Download
The Saints Philip and James School Student Handbook is updated annually to reflect the most current policies and procedures. We ask that all families download and review this year’s handbook together. After reading through it with your child, please sign and return the acknowledgment form by the deadline provided by your child’s teacher.

Technology Use at SSPJ
The Responsible Use Policy for Technology is updated each school year to reflect the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s most current guidelines. This policy outlines expectations for how students are to use technology safely, ethically, and responsibly both in school and beyond. It includes topics such as internet safety, digital citizenship, the appropriate use of devices, and prohibited behaviors—including the misuse of social media and artificial intelligence tools.
We ask all families to carefully review this policy together with their child. After reading, please complete and return the signed acknowledgment form by the due date provided by your child’s teacher.

Your partnership helps us ensure a secure and respectful digital environment for all members of the Saints Philip and James School community.
