About HSA

The SS. Philip and James Home and School Association (HSA) is an organization that is established by the Parish for Church and School with the approval of our Pastor and Principal. It is made up of the school faculty and staff and the parents and guardians of all students attending SS. Philip and James School.

The purpose of this organization is to provide additional support for our school and its outstanding teachers. It helps to keep parents informed and updated about school life and activities.

General membership meetings are held three times a year (click the button below for our schedule of events). While all families are members in the association, we do require that an annual membership fee of $10 be paid at the beginning of each school year. In addition, we hope that you will want to become actively involved by attending meetings and volunteering to help with the many activities that we sponsor each year.

The HSA sponsors and coordinates many events throughout the school year to help support the religious, academic, and social goals of our school.

HSA Events

Social Activities

Social activities are held to bring together our faculty, administration and school families for the purpose of building a stronger feeling of community and school morale.

Fundraising Activities

Fundraising activities help to provide funds to support the school’s operational budget, existing programs, new programs, and classroom supplies.

We would love to have you involved!

We encourage all parents to become involved in one or more of our committees. When you attend the first meeting of the year, you will have the opportunity to sign up for one of these committees that will be in effect throughout the school year. For more information, please contact the President of the Home and School or the chairperson of the committee the interests you.
