SS. Philip and James School takes the safety and security of our students very seriously. In recent years, many improvements have been made to our facility and procedures to ensure this safety. Having had a Pennsylvania State Police Safety & Security Assessment, we are in compliance with all of their recommendations.

Requirements

SS. Philip and James School is committed to the on-going Safe Environment Program developed by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. All priests and deacons, as well as parish staff and teachers, have attended Safe Environment training.

The Safe Environment program is provided to clergy, parish personnel, and teachers regarding their responsibility, under civil law, as mandated reporters. SS. Philip and James School ensures that all faculty, staff, and volunteers who come in regular contact with children obtain appropriate background checks .
